More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I love those moments that take my breath away.....whatever the reason.....it could be the view when you get to the top of a mountain, looking into the sky at night when the snow's falling.......seeing whales swimming.....

I typically spend my leisure time

Walking, reading, swimming, cooking, listening to music

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone capable, understanding, intelligent (not necessarily academically), caring, dry-witted, loving.......

The first thing people notice about me

That I'm usually pretty easy-going, friendly and approachable.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Murder mystery, involving a detective whose passions in life are jazz music, his cats and solving crime. The author has written a few books involving this particular detective and I like the feeling that I'm getting to know how he thinks, almost like getting to know him, even though he's fictional.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. health
  2. family
  3. friends

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That, although I can sometimes appear to be a bit ditsy, I'm actually very reliable and strong, i.e. I can cope with a lot, without crumbling.

Friends Describe me as

Easy-Going, Good listener, Optimistic, Warm

A little more about me

I do my best always to do the right thing. If I see someone in trouble, I can't just walk by and assume that someone else will sort things out.
