More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Having travelled round the world last year I am interested in further travelling (holidays). I like creating things and have an interest in DIY. Coming from a rural background, I have an interest in agriculture and rural life. I have enjoyed outdoor pursuits such as hill walking in the past. Although often busy (I am not the sort of person who likes to sit around doing nothing) to relax, I enjoy watching TV, reading and listening to a wide range of music/

I typically spend my leisure time

As a result of my job, I find leasure time has ben limited recently but a lot of the time that I have is spent with friends, either socialising or helping with DIY. I also like some time to myself and enjoy watching TV or surfing teh internet, often planning a money making scheme or researching interests such as potential travelling for the future.

The most influential person in my life has been

A genuine, caring personality. Somebody who I feel comfortable with and wants to enjoy the ups and downs of life together while trying to have some fun along the way.

The first thing people notice about me

Probably the first thing people (women) notice is that I am nervous meeting new people. Give me time though and you'll see the real me!

The last book I read and enjoyed

Not the last book but one of the best I have read recently was Chris Evans' autobiography. As the title says - it's not what you think! The making, breaking and recovery of a multi-millionaire - very interesting.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Friends and family
  2. Stable job / career giving me a comfortable living
  3. Having had the chance to travel round the world last year

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

See above! So many friends have told me that they love my personality, humour and caring nature but I usually have trouble conveying taht when I first meet somebody - especially if I am attracted to them!

Friends Describe me as

Creative, Dependable, Genuine, Hard Working

A little more about me

I've always been fairly happy being single and doing my own thing but am now looking to meet somebody and share life's experiences with. I'm not in any desperate hurry to get married or have kids but would like to in the long term.
