Spectacular First Dates
Dexter and Siobhan

Engaged: 31st December 2011
Dexter: “I first saw Siobhan on my second day of eHarmony and got into contact with her straight away. After a few days of emailing we arranged to meet in person, just to see what would happen. When we did meet for our first date in a pub, we instantly got along well, there were never any awkward silences and we had a lot to talk about. We had a lovely meal and chatted all night until I dropped her home. We realised that we both liked similar things like reading and running. In fact, for our second date we decided to go for a run together, and both being quite competitive, it was a great way to bond and find out more about each other.
We continued to meet for dates for the next few weeks and then, because we loved spending time together and had so much in common, we made things official. Seeing each other more and more often was great. Then, on New Year’s Eve, after speaking to Siobhan’s father, I proposed in a secluded spot in Dublin.
We’re getting married in Mauritius in August next year and are currently planning our wedding and building a house!”
