Jazz FM and eharmony’s partnership hits a new high note as acclaimed singer/songwriter China Moses becomes host of Jazz FM Loves

When you can’t find the words, there’s nothing quite like a love song. Whether you’re in the first flush of love or experiencing the heartbreak of lost love and regret, there’s a melody to suit every mood. And jazz has produced some of the best. That’s why we’re so excited to be continuing our partnership with Jazz FM and introduce you to the new presenter of weeknight radio programme Jazz FM Loves: China Moses.

Meet China Moses

If you don’t know China Moses already, you’re missing out! China is an acclaimed singer/songwriter and has been making music ever since releasing her first single at the age of 18 in 1996. The daughter of jazz singer Dee Dee Bridgewater and Gilbert Moses, China is passionate about jazz and has recently released her sixth studio album ‘Nightintales’. When not presenting Jazz FM Loves, she can be found touring the world, visiting everywhere from New York to Norway. A talented broadcaster, China is the perfect choice to lead Jazz FM Loves.

‘Jazz FM has opened its doors to me as an artist. Its support has been very important in my UK career,’ says China. ‘Now I’m very enthused to be on the other side, joining the highly-talented and passionate staff, and sharing with the listener the sensual and romantic side of soul jazz – and of course, a bit of funk.’

Intrigued? Be sure to tune in to Jazz FM Loves. The two-hour programme is broadcast between 10pm and midnight from Monday to Thursday. Its varied playlist is designed to appeal to jazz novices and aficionados alike. The mix of romantic and sentimental jazz has proved to be a hit with Jazz FM listeners ever since its launch in September 2017.

As Jazz FM’s content director Nick Pitts explains: ‘To have China Moses joining the line-up alongside multi Grammy award-winning musician/presenter Marcus Miller and other Jazz FM broadcasting legends like Helen Mayhew, Jez Nelson and Jeff Young is a really exciting prospect and adds another dynamic to our already expert-driven presenting team.’

And who better to team up with than the relationship experts? eharmony UK’s Country Manager Romain Bertrand says: ‘We’re delighted to progress our second partnership with Jazz FM. Through working closely with their enthusiastic team, we’ve managed to connect with a like-minded, sophisticated and passionate audience, who reflect many of our brand values. Adding a high note to the partnership is the news that talented singer China Moses will now be hosting Jazz FM Loves with eharmony.’
