What does love mean to you?

At eHarmony, we’re celebrating 5 years of helping the nation fall in love! That’s why we’ve launched our Love Captured photography competition – asking the nation to share what love really means to them.
We’re offering a grand prize of £5000 for the photo which best captures the concept of love, whether that’s a picture of the sunset you just can’t forget or a couple or friends sharing a special moment. Whatever love means to you, we want to see it!
We have four rather special judges (relationship expert Jenni Trent Hughes, editor of Practical Photography Ben Hawkin, photography blogger Mammasaurus / Annie Spratt, and Marketing Director of eHarmony.co.uk Romain Bertrand.) to pick out the best entries based on 3 main criteria:

Creativity – Use your imagination! Fresh, innovative and creative shots that surprise or delight the judges will score extra brownie points.

Quality – Show off your photography skills by taking a really great quality picture. Not that they have to be staged however – natural is often the best way to capture spontaneity.

Charm – The best pictures will inspire emotion and put a smile on your face. Don’t underestimate the charm-factor, as our judges certainly won’t.

But, it’s not just our judges you need to impress! We’ll also be asking the nation to vote for their favourite images at the same time. The entry that receives the most votes from each region will automatically go through to the final 25 and from there an overall winner will be picked.

Our competition will run from 3 October 2013 through to 17 January 2014. To find out more and to submit your entry, just visit lovecaptured.eharmony.co.uk.
