Mel and John
Mel: “John was my very first match and when we started to email each other we began a truly unique and very beautiful relationship.
It was John who sent an icebreaker and I was very interested when I realised that we lived within several miles of each other. We had great fun communicating initially online and our emails got longer and longer. We learned a lot about each other and found that we really made each other laugh so after a few weeks we began to text message and both of us realised that we had so much in common, similar outlooks on life and we shared many things including our sense of humour, fashion style and love of Indian food!
I was under no illusion prior to meeting John that something special was taking place but I was reluctant to meet just in case that final special ingredient wasn’t there. When we did meet, within an hour of us chatting I knew that John was really special. John says that he knew there was something between us as he saw me approaching the canal-side pub for that very first date.
During the evening John was the perfect gent and still is. He could tell that I was nervous so he gently held my hand and helped me to overcome my nerves. That was back in September and we now see each other almost every day. We were introduced to each other’s families at Christmas and all get on happily. We’re now very much falling in love. In fact, whilst walking through out local city centre on Valentine’s Day we were approached randomly by a photographer who wanted to photograph ‘love’ for an art exhibition! This encounter alone speaks for itself.”
