Marie and James
Marie: “My friend said that I should join eHarmony but I was a bit nervous and apprehensive. I realised that I had nothing to lose so we sat down with a glass of wine and she helped me through the questions. We made it really fun and it didn’t take too long.
I saw James’ profile and thought he looked nice so I sent him a wink. A couple of weeks later, we met for a coffee near to where we both live. I know this sounds really corny but the minute I saw him, I just knew he was the one. It’s hard to explain. I’d had one date before James and he was very nice but as soon as I got there I knew that he wasn’t right for me. On the other hand, when I met James, I had a feeling and I knew.
It was a Saturday when we met for the first time and we met up again on the Monday, just a few days later. I decided then that I was going to close my eHarmony account.”
James: "It was the same for me actually. I really liked Marie’s photos and profile so I was excited to meet her. When I saw her, I also just knew that she was right for me. We are scarily compatible. Even without the eHarmony questionnaire, I know that if we'd met each other socially, we would have just clicked. We both have two teenage daugthters, both have high pressure jobs, both have the same moral outlook and we both feel we've known each other since we were kids, rather than for just four months.”
